Waked down Strait to Beaumaris then fell in trying switch. Restarted to just past Bangor pier. Boated under Menai Bridges with scary currents and whirlpools even at high. Getting tighter turns both toesides. Lovely views of mountains and close to wooded Anglesey shore. Waked some more back to Llan. Discovered you can also go too slow to switch.
